ELITE CH PRO. THE CONCEPT.
The ELITE model CH PRO is our automatic pressing and shaping machine. The process of swaging consist to press the face of the tooth in order to have a stronger teeth and also place some material to the sides of the teeth to ensure a cutting free process of the bandsaws. It is a better process instead of setting the teeth because it gives a longer cutting time of the bandsaw without complicated processes like stellite tipping.
ELITE CH PRO. HOW IT WORKS
The swaging process consist in two proceses: Swaging and Pressing (shaping) of the sides. Once the tooth is positioned automatically by means of the tooth pusher, a swaging eccentric with ø11, ø12 or ø13 mm. (user selectable) is placed in front of the bandsaw tooth. The saw tooth is then pressed against it by means of an anvil. By turning the swaging eccentric, the tooth material is compressed, densifying the steel thus giving more strength to the tooth. When the swaging process is finished, the swaging eccentric turns back to its original position and the pressing starts to give the same size to both flanks of the tooth.
